The Personal Finance Guide is, in my opinion, the best finance guide I have found on the internet. It has archives of all the articles that have been posted since December 2005 when it was founded. The guide has several tips that range from banking to identity theft to tax preparation and much more. It also tells you how to save money and distinguish between needs and wants which in an economy like ours, is very important. Overall, I think that this guide has some amazing tips if you are looking to improve your personal financial situation and if you look this site over you could save a lot of money. Debt Gazette

While trying to figure out college expenses I stumbled upon the Debt Gazette. Not only does it give good information about all types of debt and problems that can occur because of debt but it also gives you tips to help you get out or stay out of debt. It also has some news about celebrities that have gone from extremely rich to bankrupt. One of the interesting things about this website is that it tells about the economics of our country. It helped my stay up to date with debt and it has some good information to keep me out of debt.

New Find...Vocaboly!

I found this software while looking for things to study for my SAT. I downloaded the free trial and I must say that I instantly felt more comfortable about my vocabulary situation for the SAT. After using it for about an hour I decided to check out some of the different modes. The mode I liked the best was the game mode because it kept you entertained while you learn vocabulary. Also it helped me with the meaning of words and learning how to spell them based on their meaning. Overall, I think Vocaboly is a great program for learning how to spell and learn the meanings of different words that will likely be on the SAT. Earth Day

To me Earth Day is a day to think about what we have done to the Earth and what we need to do to help it. We have polluted it with thousands of tons of waste and currently do not have a way to get rid of the waste efficiently. We need to learn how to conserve what is left of our natural resources because we cannot keep consuming them at the rate we currently are. Earth Day is also a day to think about the beauty of the Earth.

Motivation

My motivation to learn chemistry is the cool things that you can do with it. I like to mix chemicals and see the reactions. Also, the teacher has a big impact and because my teacher is fun, I have fun in chemistry. It motivates me to know the subject so that I can participate in class. My grades are also a motivator towards chemistry. If I do bad in chemistry then my GPA is dragged down so I am motivated to do well. Overall, there are several things that motivate me to do well in Chemistry and I think that they all effect me in different ways.

Science and Politics

Science and Politics have a lot to do with each other. First off, your views in science can affect whether you get elected or not. One of the biggest opinions you have is your view on abortion. You could potentially lose a lot of voters if you say the wrong thing. Stem cell research is another thing you have to be careful about as a politician. Science and Politics are tied together tighter than most people may imagine.

Nuclear Power

I support nuclear power because it is one of the cleaner sources of energy even though it produces nuclear waste. I believe that there is a way to dispose of nuclear waste safely and efficiently but we haven't found it yet. Overall, a switch to nuclear power would probably be better for our country and the entire world.
